Michael H. Johnson, MD is a board certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in condition and injuries from the collarbone to the finger tips, including shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand. Dr. Johnson specializes in shoulder arthroscopy for rotator cuff and labral tears as well as arthroplasty of the shoulder, including complex revisions. Within hand surgery, he specializes in carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger fingers, arthroscopic treatment of arthritis, tendon or ligament tears, and dupuytren’s contracture. He treats all types of fractures of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand as well. He is also certified in robotic hip and knee replacement surgery.
Dr. Johnson is a graduate of Stanford University in Stanford, California. He received his medical degree from the UCLA School of Medicine and completed his Residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He completed a Shoulder and Elbow fellowship at Brown University and a Hand Surgery Fellowship at Harvard University.
