TCO Welcomes New Physician Dr. Adan Omar

Join us in welcoming our newest physician, Adan M. Omar, MD, to Twin Cities Orthopedics.

Dr. Omar joins TCO as a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine surgeon with strong ties to the Twin Cities region. Dr. Omar completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Rochester and his fellowship in Spine Surgery at Mayo Clinic. He believes that each patient’s journey is unique, and he will explore all options with his patients to provide long-term health improvements.

Why did you go into medicine?

The field of medicine allows me the privilege of improving the lives of other individuals.

How did you choose orthopedics?

Orthopedics is such a rewarding specialty because you’re actively working with patients to restore mobility and function to improve their quality of life.

What does your dream practice look like?

My dream practice would consist of three major things: happy patients, great outcomes, and no complications.

What is your favorite quote?

What is your care philosophy?

My care philosophy is that treatment options should be tailored to each individual as everyone has their own journey. I believe in using a multidisciplinary and collaborative approach, including physical therapists and pain management physicians to provide personalized care for each patient.

Dr. Omar will practice at TCO’s Eden Prairie and Edina-Crosstown location.
