Difference Makers: Rebecca Hill
Say hi to Rebecca Hill. She works in a variety of ways with Twin Cities Orthopedics and Minnesota Prosthetics & Orthotics – all in the name of providing the best experience for patients. For her dedication to patient care and her colleagues, Rebecca is one of our Difference Makers.
What’s your title and role?
I’m the administrative assistant for the Burnsville office, and I also work with Minnesota Prosthetics & Orthotics, helping to coordinate all of the prosthetic care. I get to be involved in a lot of different aspects of the clinic and fill in wherever I am needed.
What’s your favorite thing about working at TCO?
TCO is a great company to work for, and it’s great to work at a place where everyone is working together to give the patient an excellent experience from the moment that they come through the front door until they leave. I also really enjoy interacting with the prosthetic patients and getting to know them and their stories.
How do you make a difference?
I get to be the person that can help out and step into a lot of different roles here within our office – I might be helping a prosthetic patient by doing an insurance check and, in the same day, fellow employee by stepping into their role to fill in when they are short-staffed or simply need a helping hand. It’s great to be able to make a difference not only for the patients but also for my coworkers as well!
What are some of your favorite things to do outside of work?
I love to sing, and I am in a few different groups and bands in my spare time. I also love spending time with my husband and two kiddos, playing outside and being active.
Thanks, Rebecca!
Twin Cities Orthopedics has been named one of the Top 150 Workplaces for seven consecutive years by the Star Tribune, and one of the main reasons is because of our amazing team members who make a difference every day.
