Our program offers tailored solutions to target these areas, restoring function, strengthening muscles, increasing flexibility, and easing discomfort to improve your quality of life.

Lymphedema Treatment and Risk Reduction

Lymphedema is a common issue among breast cancer survivors, with symptoms varying depending on treatment and individual response. We specialize in comprehensive lymphedema management, from the time of diagnosis until years after treatment ends. We consult with patients before surgery, when possible, to obtain a baseline measurement. We also teach lymphedema risk reduction practices and provide proactive care to minimize the effect of lymphedema on your daily life.

Breast cancer survivors often find that lymphedema significantly affects their quality of life. Treatment by our Breast Health therapists is the optimal approach for managing it. Our experienced team is passionate about helping you minimize your risk of lymphedema and alleviating current symptoms while reducing the risk of long-term complications.

Our dedicated Breast Health team collaborates closely with referring providers to deliver personalized care tailored to each patient’s specific needs and goals. Whether you’re preparing for surgery, undergoing treatment, or in recovery, we offer a wide range of options. From personalized exercise routines to guidance on obtaining compression garments, we’ll work closely with you to ensure you move and feel your best throughout your journey.

We understand the unique challenges faced by lumpectomy and mastectomy patients. Our personalized approach promotes optimal recovery and addresses concerns specific to lumpectomy, such as tightness and breast lymphedema, and mastectomy, such as discomfort related to reconstruction scarring and post-mastectomy nerve pain.

Scar Treatment and Management

Our advanced scar management techniques go beyond reducing discomfort. We focus on improving tissue flexibility and appearance, restoring confidence, and ensuring optimal healing post-surgery.
