Maryann Johnson, PT is a highly trained and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist with specialties in Dance Medicine, Manual Therapy and Postural Restoration. Maryann is a classically trained Ballet Dancer from prominent Ballet Schools and Artists in the Nation. She is an experienced Performer, Artist and Master Ballet Teacher. Maryann has provided Physical Therapy for multiple Dance Companies and Schools in clinics and on-site in the Twin Cities. She has lectured extensively at Conferences, Professional Dance Companies and Schools. Maryann looks to treat dancers at all levels, styles and ages. She understands dance movement, technique, dynamics and alignment. She has a special interest in the foot and ankle and looks to correct foot mechanics with a whole-body approach of alignment and stability.
Maryann enjoys serving the Dance Community and mentoring other Dance Medicine specialists.
In her free time, Maryann enjoys spending time with her husband and family, experiencing live theater, art and nature.
