John Corbo, PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS, is a residency-trained sports physical therapist and certified strength and conditioning specialist. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy from St. Catherine University in 2010, completed the Fairview Sports Physical Therapy Residency in 2011, achieved his Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) certification in 2012, and was selected for the Kevin Wilk Traveling Fellowship in 2013.
John’s career began at St. John’s University as an assistant strength and conditioning coach, followed by working as a sports performance coach and personal trainer. These experiences helped build the foundation for his passion of helping athletes return to peak performance after injury.
Currently, he specializes in treating athletic injuries, particularly for hockey players, overhead athletes, and runners with expertise in both operative and non-operative shoulder, knee, and hip conditions.
Outside of work, John enjoys hiking, coaching, gardening, nutrition, hunting, and spending time with his wife and two children in Forest Lake.
