About

Jon Schoenecker, PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, CSCS, received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Minnesota. Following graduation, he completed an orthopedic residency program with Fairview’s Institute for Athletic Medicine where he became well-versed in the treatment of surgical and non-surgical rehabilitation of all orthopedic conditions. He is board certified in both sports and orthopedics from the American Board of Physical Therapy specialties. He has a special interest in sports medicine, specifically knee and shoulder, where he enjoys treating motivated individuals, of all ages and backgrounds, who are looking to relieve their pain and get back to their desired activities as quickly as possible. Jon has lectured locally and nationally, is a recurring guest lecturer at a Concordia – St. Paul Doctor of Physical Therapy program, participates in clinical research, and has authored medical journal articles within his area of expertise. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, while remaining active with running, resistance training, participating in recreational sports, and being outdoors.
