Dr. Seybold was awesome, he was very confident and had a well thought out plan to fix my fractured heel. This was just short of a miracle as I was referred to him after my home town surgeon left me without much of a solution. After my accident, they were contemplating the amputation of my foot. Dr. Seybold thought he could help me and get me back to walking. He instilled a high level of confidence in me and he was very successful. I am now walking, biking and golfing which is something I couldn’t do for two years. I can’t say enough positive statements about the level of care he provided me. Thank you, Dr. Seybold, for your skill and for giving me my life back. I highly recommend him and TCO to any and all patients.

Dr. Seybold is compassionate, professional, intelligent, and extremely capable. You can’t ask for more than that. I highly recommend Dr. Seybold and his staff. I am truly grateful for what they do.

I am a 66-year-old male and had bunion surgery on my right foot in 2020 at a different practice, which was unsuccessful. The bone did not grow back together and fuse around the metal brace installed during the initial surgery. The result was continued pain, trauma and swelling of the foot for two years. The surgeon who performed that surgery retired from active practice, so I needed a new surgeon to correct the situation. In 2022, Dr. Seybold of TCO agreed to perform the corrective surgery. He and his team did a remarkable job, given a difficult situation. He removed the old hardware and connecting screws and replaced them, working with the bone that had been compromised from the first operation. It is four months since the operation that Dr. Seybold performed and the result is a tremendous success, with the bone fusing around the new hardware nearly completely. Dr. Seybold was excellent to work with and very professional in developing a plan for the reconstructive surgery and my recovery. Dr. Seybold is thoughtful, respectful and reassuring. His team of PA Erik and scheduler Katie assisted in every step of my recovery and were amazing to work with. I have been able to return to exercising, cycling, and hiking – which I enjoy. I am extremely grateful for Dr. Seybold and his team for the work they did to get me back on my feet!

Dr. Seybold and his PA, Erik, were amazing to work with after I was injured. I received achilles repair surgery in November of 2021, and in April 2022 I made light work of climbing Diamond Head in Hawaii twice in 3 days!

Now that I’m coming up on two years since my surgery (circa Oct 2017) I just wanted to send a quick note of thanks and appreciation to you, Dr. Seybold.
Two weeks ago I completed a multi-day, 300 mile bike ride in the (very hilly!) Finger Lakes region of New York. I experienced virtually no discomfort in my reconstructed calcaneus (six screws worth, as you may recall) and surrounding tissue. And I’m certain the little discomfort I did have was more attributable to the scleroderma that was present before the injury.
18 months ago when I was just starting to bear weight again, I was very unsure of how far my recovery could take me. I was hoping to at least get to the point where a five mile hike was doable. A 300 mile bike ride? I doubt that I would have considered that even a remote possibility. But here we are. So I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am for you and your expertise, and that you really did a FANTASTIC job!
With gratitude,
Mike

Dr. Seybold and his staff were very professional and knowledgeable before, during and after my surgery. Both procedures (bunionectomy and hammer toe correction) were successful and without issue. Normally known as a painful recovery, the pain was very manageable. With their recovery advice and planning, I’m now back to normal activities, working out, running, biking, swimming, etc! No more pain at all while walking for the first time in a few years. Thanks Dr. Seybold and team!

Hi Dr. Seybold and team, thank you for the awesome experience with my procedure today. I have been at home with my foot up, on ice and watching TV. The whole procedure, from the Edina office visit all the way to the actual surgery was outstanding. From the intake, the planning, the smooth experience and use of technology, to the amazing care from the physicians and staff, shows that TCO is the best orthopedics facility and absolutely and unequivocally second to none anywhere. Please share this praise with everyone who was involved with my care and part of putting up with me today. Markus

Dr. Seybold is the greatest surgeon. I had been waiting Dr. Chris Coetzee for years, which was 2 years on the waiting list. His partner orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Chris Larson, recommended Dr. Seybold as equally great. Thus, I didn’t wait and went for him. My surgery went well. After the surgery, I made three follow-up visits. I am also very impressed with his nice personality and high care level. Highly recommended. Look no further!

I highly recommend Dr. Seybold. He has completed Achilles tendon debridement & bone spur removal on both of my ankles, the right in 2015 & the left in August 2018. Both resulted in pain elimination & were complete successes. The latest recovery was even a little quicker than the first one due to changes in the rehab protocols. His team at TCO Eagan is caring, responsive & extremely competent! Thank you Dr. Seybold!

It was a long process but Dr. Seybold was honest with me the whole way through. He was kind, caring and always ensured me things were getting better. His nurse and assisting staff always answered my questions or called to check on me.

I had full confidence in Dr. Seybold. He did a wonderful job on my hammer toe and straighten my big toe. When I would visit after surgery, he would always tell me what to do and was always thinking about things I could do to make it heal even better. I would recommend him to anyone with this same problem.

Hello, My name is Matt C. Yesterday afternoon I brought my father, Jeff C. to TCO Edina for an appointment with Dr. Seybold.
Approx. 20 years ago, my father was in an accident, resulting in a severe distal tib / fib fracture. He had received 3 different surgeries to repair his leg. The past few years, he has had increased pain and lack of mobility. My dad is a very active person, and it has been sad to see him not doing things he enjoys.
A few weeks ago, when we called to make an appointment for a consult, the person on the phone taking the info, was very professional and answered questions about insurance coverage. I was very pleased with the short wait time to get in for an appointment. Yesterday when we arrived, we were greeted at the door with courteous smiles. We proceeded to the desk, again were greeted with smiles and direction for patient admission. The admission staff were very patient with my dad and answered many questions he had. They were very helpful in assisting him filling out registration information.
We were then greeted by the PA, who brought us directly to an exam room. He listened to our story and showed high levels of empathy. He talked to us about our concerns and listened well about my dad’s increased pain and lack of mobility over the past years.
Next we had brief meeting with the X-Ray tech, who was very polite and professional when repeating my dad’s films.
We had a very short wait until Dr. Seybold and his PA came into the room. Dr. Seybold introduced himself to myself and my dad in a very caring way. Dr. Seybold talked to us about different surgical interventions and pros and cons to each. He asked us questions, and listened to our answers. As well as answered all of our questions. He never talked down to us, and talked to us in a manor for us to understand. He made sure we were all on the same page with the information he was giving us. He never made us feel rushed when visiting with us. When he left the room, we felt so so good about the choices we were given and our next steps in my dad’s surgical process. We were given papers and contact info of who to contact with any questions as well as to make an appointment.
Upon leaving TCO, were treated so so well. All the staff were kind and professional. I never felt as they were caring for a patient or a customer, but felt as they were taking care of their own family member.
I myself have been working in healthcare for over 20 years. I have been in hundreds of hospitals and clinics. In my opinion, TCO has the absolute best customer care I have ever seen. I am very pleased to making an appointment soon to get the help my dad needs. Thank you so so much for taking care of our needs.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Seybold, his team and TCO. Everyone is kind, patient and always have a smile for you. I had previous bunion surgery years ago at another hospital and they came back. In 2015 I meet Dr. Seybold and he redid my right foot. I am finally pain free on that foot and in 2016 he has correct my left foot bunion and hammer toe. I can’t wait till I can start running again pain free! I also like that Dr. Seybold does all of the surgery and closure and rewraps your bandages during the office visits. You never feel rushed when you see him. Any question and he will take the time to answer them until you understand what is going on. 5+ stars!!

I’m an active senior, but was struggling with a constantly ulcerated hammertoe and bunion that was very painful, especially in cross-country ski boots and biking shoes. Dr. Jeffrey Seybold got me back in the mix of doing all the sports I love with no pain. Highly successful surgery last June and I’m single track mountain biking with my grandson again! I loved how professional he and the entire staff at TCO was!

It worked! There were no surprises and I have no pain. I could not be happier with my experience. Arthritis had raised havoc on one of my ankle joints. Injections were helpful for the short term, but I needed to find a long term solution. After several consultations I chose TCO’s Dr. Jeffrey Seybold. After reviewing x-rays and CT scans he determined that ankle fusion surgery was my best option. Dr. Seybold was very thorough in explaining what would be done and what to expect during recovery. Even though it was a tedious protocol to follow during recovery – it was a pleasant experience at TCO with Dr. Jeffrey Seybold. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Seybold for any ankle/foot issues.

In April, 2014, I had a total ankle replacement done by Dr. Seybold and Twin Cities Orthopedics. Prior to the replacement, I could not walk without excruciating pain. I limped around everywhere I went and I was only 51. I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis. I had not heard much about ankle replacements and was reluctant to have any kind of surgery. I researched surgeons and decided to travel from Duluth, MN to come to TCO and see Dr. Seybold. He gave me an option of ankle fusion or total ankle replacement. After careful research, I decided on the total ankle replacement. I am so thankful for choosing the replacement and choosing Dr. Seybold as my surgeon. I followed all of Dr. Seybold’s instructions after surgery and spent several weeks not putting any weight on my ankle. In the fall of 2014, I was able to enjoy going out of town to see my nephew’s hockey game. His grandparents could not believe how well I could walk from the year before. This past summer, I spent time walking on the shores of Lake Superior, mowing my own lawn and simply enjoying things that I could no longer do prior to the ankle replacement. I’m enjoying life and enjoying walking without pain. I am so thankful for Dr. Seybold and the staff at Twin Cities Orthopedics for giving me my mobility back.
