About

Karen Edmonson, DPT, OCS, attended Ripon College in Wisconsin with a major in Biology, and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse in 2011. Karen spent her first two years as a PT in Gilbert, Arizona, where she enjoyed the heat and the mountains. She and her husband moved to Minnesota in 2013 and she has been working for Twin Cities Orthopedics ever since. She became a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2015. In 2021, Karen also began treating pelvic health diagnoses including incontinence, urgency, constipation, issues that arise during pregnancy and postpartum, and more! She loves taking the time to educate her patients on their conditions, explaining the purpose behind exercises or manual work, and watching them become independent and succeed. She believes that mindset and attitude play a significant role in outcomes.

In her free time, Karen enjoys seeing action or thriller flicks with her husband, playing Ultimate Frisbee, vegetable gardening, and anything outdoors with her two sons.
