Difference Makers: Angela Walters

Meet Angela, one of our Difference Makers who has an awesomely unique pet. Angela is constantly finding ways to make work more efficient for her team and others. Let’s find out more!

What’s your title and role?

I’m a payables and payroll specialist. I manage the payroll inbox 2-3 days a week, help with processing payroll, cut checks for the EXCEL program and patient refunds. I also work on varying projects for the accounting and payroll department.

Favorite thing about working at TCO

TCO is a great place to work. Everyone gets along great in our department, and we are always helping each other out. I like being able to help other employees and managers by creating reports or answering their questions.

How do you make a difference?

I try my best to answer questions that I receive on a timely basis. I also create reports in Business Intelligence that save time by assisting the manual process of obtaining data from UltiPro. Some of these reports are scheduled to email on a time basis whereas others only send emails when there is something that needs to be looked at.

Favorite things outside of work

One of my favorite things outside of work are my pets, one of which is my blue-tongued skink that I have had for eight years. I enjoy taking her to pet stores for holiday events, and I even make a costume for her for the Halloween events. My other favorite things include reading manga and watching anime.
