Implementing an ESI program at your company allows your organization to be proactive and not reactive. Work conditioning is a bridge program between normal physical therapy and return to work and focuses on increasing injured workers’ physical capacity specifically related to their job specific demands. Health Quotient’s comprehensive work conditioning program applies a therapy-based approach to address mobility, strength, endurance, and work simulation while educating the patient on proper lifting mechanics and injury prevention methods.

A functional capacity evaluation (FCE) is a set of tests, practices, and observations that assist in determining an individual’s ability to function in a variety of circumstances. These tests are objective and most commonly used in employment return to work scenarios. These evaluations are part of the healing process for an injured worker and provide data that shows where the worker is with their recovery at that moment. This information allows the parties involved to make an informed decision as to the next steps.

The BTE EvalTech computerized testing system provides an objective, reliable, and legally defensible documentation measurement of function following an injury. The FCE detail can be used to identify and target specific physiological deficit areas, which can be beneficial to the treating provider on medical treatment direction and intervention.
