Abigale (Abby) Gabrick, PA-C, MPAS, is a board certified Physician Assistant specializing in orthopedic surgery. Abby graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Physiology and Biology from the University of Minnesota before completing her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies and training at Des Moines University in Iowa. She returned home to Saint Paul, Minnesota, joining TCO, then St. Croix Orthopaedics, in 2008.
Abby has knowledge in many areas of orthopedic surgery as initially her primary focus was on general orthopedics treating disorders related to the shoulder, hip, knee, and ankle. During this time she also worked with Dr. Steven Meletiou treating hand and upper extremity conditions. She has now been working exclusively alongside Dr. Meletiou on the hand team since 2012. Abby serves patients through clinical evaluation and treatment, performing clinical procedures such as joint injections, assisting Dr. Meletiou in surgery, and helping to manage patients in the hospital and in outpatient clinics post-operatively. Abby’s passion is educating and helping her patients to optimize their return of function while minimizing pain so that her patients may lead a healthy and active lifestyle. She has served as a mentor for other Physician Assistants and PA students.
Abby and her husband, have three children. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Abby enjoys running, cooking, gardening and being active outdoors.
