Christopher Reynolds, DO, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with subspecialty fellowship training in operative and non-operative management of spine conditions. He provides comprehensive spine care for the neck and back. Treated disorders include disc herniations, spinal cord compression, spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis, spondylosis and sacroiliac joint dysfunction.
Dr. Reynolds received his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After orthopedic residency, he completed a fellowship in Spine Surgery at the renowned New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, MA. Dr. Reynolds has advanced training in microdiscectomy, decompression, fusion, motion-preservation, revision spine surgery, and complex spine reconstruction. He treats a wide variety of spine disorders utilizing the latest open and minimally invasive techniques. He has special interest in motion-preserving (non-fusion) techniques when appropriate.
Prior to joining TCO, he was actively practicing in St. Cloud, MN. Outside of work, Dr. Reynolds cherishes his time with his wife and three children.

I had the best experience with Dr. Reynolds after I found myself stuck and stiff for days from my neck and shoulders. I had tingling all the down to my arm to fingers. Once an MRI was done, I was told that I needed immediate surgery to relieve the compression on my cervical spine, so we booked the surgery. I have had more than ten orthopedic-related surgeries related to osteoarthritis, but this neck thing scared me to death since it was involving my spine.
We met and discussed the procedure. He was able to explain so I could understand, spend the time to relate to me, and put me at ease. It made it an easier decision to go through with the surgery. He has a very good manner during pre-op, at surgery center, during post-op, and the follow-up! My surgery seems to have been very straightforward and common, but more important, successful. I would gladly recommend Dr. Chris Reynolds at TCO for any family and friends needing a neck specialist.

The care I received from Dr. Reynolds and his team was outstanding. I appreciated their open and honestness throughout my care. Dr. Reynolds jokingly said I likely wouldn’t like him for the first few days of my recovery. Now I am three weeks into my recovery, and the only complaint is that I’m not allowed to do whatever I want. After living with a high level of pain for many years, I now have no pain, can walk upright, and can lay flat in bed. I praise my Lord and Savior for giving Dr. Reynolds the skills and directing his team in the care they provided.

I had been treated by Dr. Christopher Reynolds for nearly two years. On March 18, 2026, he performed my SI Joint Fusion Surgery at Maple Grove Hospital. I am nearly three weeks post-surgery and recovering nicely. Dr. Reynolds is brilliant, caring, and I trust him completely. I have full faith that I will have a wonderful outcome and a new improved quality of life. Dr. Reynold’s assistant, Lauren, is also amazing. I have seen Dr. Reynolds twice for low back and SI pain. He nailed the diagnosis immediately and confirmed it with an MRI. He has a fantastic “bedside manner” and is very easy to communicate with. Dr. Reynolds explains everything well. I feel like I receive great information coming in and going out. He sent me to TCO physical therapy, and I am responding fantastically to the exercises in my rehab! I have already referred him to others and will continue to do so in a heartbeat! What a great addition to TCO!
