Christopher Traynor, MD, hails from Fargo, North Dakota. He completed his undergraduate education at St. John’s University followed by medical school at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine. After medical school, he completed his Residency Training in Orthopedic Surgery at Western Michigan University, Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, MI.
Following residency, he returned closer to his roots to complete his Foot and Ankle Surgery Fellowship at Twin Cities Orthopedics. There he received training focused on foot deformity and reconstruction, traumatic injuries of the foot and ankle, bunion surgery, sports injuries of the foot and ankle, and ankle arthritis and replacement. In addition to foot and ankle care, Dr. Traynor treats a wide variety of general orthopedics, including fractures, traumatic and sport injuries, and knee replacements.
Outside of work, Dr. Traynor is married with two young boys who keep him and his wife busy. He enjoys spending time with family at the lake and outdoor activities including hunting and fishing.
