I would highly recommend Dr. Vanden Berge for knee surgery. He performed a robotic total left knee replacement on me. I have both rheumatoid and osteoarthritis in my knees and was in severe pain before the surgery. During my pre-op appointments, he thoroughly explained the surgery process in a very detailed and professional manner. He answered all my questions and addressed every concern. The surgery was very successful, and I currently have no pain in my left knee! I can walk and do numerous activities that I couldn’t do prior. Dr. Vanden Berge has the best technology available to him and has excellent bedside manners. I will confidently entrust him to perform my right knee surgery, if and when it is required.

I found out that I had avascular necrosis and my doctor said I needed a hip replacement as soon as possible. Dr. Vanden Berge and his staff were always on time, pleasant to talk with, and very informative. I was walking right away after surgery, and the first step was the greatest of all time. I had no pain! If I have to get my left hip done in the future, I know I will be going to TCO and seeing Dr. Vanden Berge again.

I was completely satisfied with Dr. Vanden Berge and the staff at Twin Cities Orthopedics. From the pre-op appointments through the post-op follow-ups, he did a thorough and professional job explaining each step along the way. He was very patient and answered all my questions. As a result, my knee is well on its way to being more stable and far less painful than it was prior to surgery. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Vanden Berge. I am so confident in him that I am entrusting him to replace my other knee!

Dr. Vanden Berge did my mom’s hip replacement. She is 84 years old. He is a wonderful, compassionate doctor. He even called my mom several times to check in with her personally. I highly recommend Dr. Vanden Berge for hip surgery.

I had my right hip replaced by Dr. Dennis Vanden Berge in March 2026. The experience was better than I expected! Dr. Vanden Berge was extremely considerate and kind with every interaction. He went above and beyond any surgeon I have dealt with in the past. He was always available to answer questions and did not rush me out of appointments. I would absolutely recommend him to my friends and family.

I have metastatic breast cancer. Between mild to moderate arthritis and cancer medications, I couldn’t even stand up straight. I used to walk and ride my bike almost every day as it played a huge factor in my mental health. I had not been going on walks for almost two weeks because of my condition but Dr. Vanden Berge helped me by prescribing a steroid shot. This morning, I woke up a new woman! I have so much gratitude for the care I received. Thank you so much to Dr. Vanden Berge and his team!

My experience with my original procedure was good. Unfortunately, I had an accidental fall at home the day after my surgery and ended up breaking a few stitches. I went back to TCO Urgent Care where I was quickly taken care of by Dr. Vanden Berge. He recommended that I check back into the hospital that night so he could perform surgery the next morning. Dr. Vanden Berge gave me a few encouraging words before my second surgery, which made my wife and I feel reassured. He said, “things happen and we will fix it up”, which he did.
At first, I was disappointed since I felt like my fall would slow my rehab. However, that was not the case, and my recovery is going very well. The pain typically happens at night and after my physical therapy exercises which I was told to expect. Falling at home was the only bad part of my recovery experience. I want to give a big thank you to Dr. Vanden Berge and the many people at TCO who had to perform surgery on me twice. I am very pleased with my care from him and his team.

Dr. Vanden Berge did a super job with my surgery and after care! He was very clear and concise, which helped me confidently start walking without crutches and reintroduce driving at eight weeks post-operation. Of course, I am still careful though during my recovery.
