I had surgery at TCO Blaine in November. This was the scene at my home a few days later. SEE VIDEO HERE. Thank you, Dr. Erik Wetter and staff for the excellent service and care. My hips don’t lie anymore!

Dr. Erik Wetter performed emergency surgery for me in early August 2022. Surgery included; open treatment left femoral neck fracture with prosthetic replacement, a left anterior THA, closed treatment of left sacrum and pubic rami fractures without manipulation, and an ORIF left humerus proximal shaft.

On September 7th I had the first post-surgical appointment. Dr. Wetter was very encouraging in directing me in stretching my left humerus and shoulder to prevent a frozen shoulder. These exercises continued with OT and PT inpatient and outpatient care. The second follow up appointment with Dr. Wetter was in October. It showed additional healing, 75% with the humerus, and 80% with the pelvic area. I have been discharged from Dr. Wetter’s care after excellent, inspirational and encouraging care of my injuries and Surgeries. I truly appreciate Dr. Erik Wetter’s skillful care!

Broke my right wrist trying my granddaughters hoverboard, yes I have checked it off my bucket list. The hospital tried to set it, but it was an unstable brake and I needed surgery. I was able to have surgery done two days later. Now, it’s been five weeks total and I’m starting to make bone, pain is minimal and I have almost normal range of motion. The staff and Dr. Wetter have been awesome. I would recommend them to anyone!

Dr. Wetter did a great job on my hip replacements, which were life changing for me, because of the level 10 pain I was having. After surgery the pain was almost zero. The PT staff at Mercy hospital and nursing staff made the rehab very tolerable. Thanks to Dr. Wetter, I am walking!

Had total hip replacement surgery February 2019. Surgery performed by Dr. Erik Wetter. Everything went as planned. Prior to surgery, I was in constant pain, some days worse than others, but it was always there. Walked with a limp, trips around the block were about as far as I could comfortably do. One week after surgery, was able to walk without any assistance (walker or cane). At four weeks post-surgery, started going for daily walks, building up to 3.5 miles at a time, with the pain decreasing and the time per mile decreasing and length of stride increasing. During the past month (3-4 months post-surgery), have been hiking in the mountains of Utah, canoeing and bike riding, all with NO hip pain or movement restrictions. Now I wonder why I waited so long to have this procedure done. It’s really nice to be able to do normal daily activities without any pain. Dr. Wetter did a wonderful job replacing my hip and he was also great to deal with prior to surgery and at my follow-up appointments. I would highly recommend him.

I have been blessed with good health until my mid-sixties and then out of nowhere, one hip and then a few months later, the other hip essentially locked me up in severe pain. I couldn’t even walk across a skyway in downtown Minneapolis, where I worked, without stopping and catching my breath it was so painful. I reached out to someone who is familiar with the “physician/medical community” and he referred me to Dr. Wetter. Long story short, Dr. Wetter replaced both of my hips within a few months of each other. Reflecting back on the experience I can truthfully say everything he said that was going to happen before, during and after the surgeries, happened. No surprises, no misunderstandings about the process, procedure, outcome or post-surgery recovery issues/timetables. He is straight forward, honest and believable. He is surrounded by a great team of professionals at his office and the hospital. And finally, he LISTENS very well.

Dr. Erik Wetter, words will never be enough to thank you and your staff! When I broke my fibula bone, I was told at the emergency room that it would be 10-12 weeks before I could even put pressure on my leg. My wife and I for sure thought our RV trailer was going to sit out this year. When we went in to my appointment in December 2017, your staff made me feel so relaxed from the minute I arrived. Dr. Wetter told me the best option was surgery but promised I would be putting weight on my leg in 6 weeks and walking in 8 weeks! And he kept his promise.

Thanks so much to you and your staff for never making me feel like a patient but a family member. And a special thanks to Kelli Greene and Lisa P. Both of you have always explained everything and took your time to make sure I understood everything. The only bad experience I had was when Kelli said I did not have to come back anymore because I was healed. Thank you again! I am excited to be able to enjoy 2018.

I actually slept through the night last night for the first time in weeks! You injected my shoulder and that is what I needed! I couldn’t believe it when I looked at the clock and it was 8:00am! I was waking up between 2:00-3:00am every night and not sleeping well.

Thank you. You were very nice and professional. I overheard a patient of yours expressing how happy he was and he stated: “you were the best surgeon ever!” How nice is that?  It made me smile. Thought I would do the same for you.

Dr. Wetter was extremely personable, he gave me a thorough evaluation, he spent as much time as I needed answering my questions, explaining my condition to me and my husband, outlining the treatment options and helping me make a treatment decision then having his staff arrange treatment appointments with the appropriate facilities.
