Take your game to the next level with TCO Sports Performance
In today’s sports world of “bigger, faster, stronger,” just enough isn’t enough.
Sports performance is about more than practicing for the game; it’s about preparing your body to play the sport at your best.
“We’re ‘bulletproofing’ the body, and at the same time we’re improving performance,” Twin Cities Orthopedics Head Sports Performance Coach Kirk Olson said. “You’ll learn how to work hard, compete, be a good teammate and be a good person.”
Olson joined TCO after more than a decade as the strength and conditioning coach for the Minnesota Wild. Olson also has coached players from the NFL, Major League Baseball and the National Lacrosse League.
No matter how athletes or teams would like to improve, there’s something for them in TCO’s Sports Performance program. Programs can be conveniently offered at a TCO location as well as your area team’s school, gym or field and customized for individuals, with a wide array of enhanced sports training options.
Athletic Movement and Performance
The Athletic Movement and Performance (AMP) program’s primary objectives are to foster the development of each athlete’s physical abilities in order to maximize performance, while using techniques to stave off injury.
Athletic Competition Enhancement
Athletic Competition Enhancement (ACE) is an eight-week return-to-sport rehab program in Burnsville, Coon Rapids, Eden Prairie, Maple Grove and Stillwater for athletes who have completed physical therapy for an injury to the lower extremity. ACE is done in a safe and effective environment to improve core strength, flexibility, dynamic balance, speed and discipline, thus improving agility.
TCO’s Golf Medicine program is integrated with the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) and inspires golfers of all levels to be their best. Our golf specialists can help you achieve your specific goals for golf rehab, fitness, swing and more.
Baseball & Softball Throwing
TCO’s baseball and softball throwing program is data-driven and designed to be used as a guide for young and high-level athletes. Program goals include preventing injuries and returning to throwing after an injury and/or time off.
TCO offers integrated nutrition solutions at its Burnsville and Eden Prairie locations that focus on weight loss, performance nutrition, food allergies and more, offering a holistic approach to providing patients lifelong health and well-being that complement TCO’s innovative physical therapy services.
