Why did you go into medicine?

I began working in the health care field in college and, through my experiences, realized that becoming a physician would allow me the opportunity to return patients to their full potential.

How did you choose orthopedics?

I was first exposed to orthopedics through my own injury and was inspired by my orthopedic surgeon. I ultimately realized that orthopedic surgery was a good blend of my love for musculoskeletal anatomy, hands-on application of knowledge and desire to return patients to their activities of enjoyment.
