Aundrea D. Rainville, MD
What are a few interesting facts that people may not know about you?
I love animals! I would have a house and barn full of animals if I had the time to take care of them. For now, my two dogs and three cats will have to do. I really enjoy seeing musicals, and I’ve recently taken up pottery as a hobby.
Why did you go into medicine?
I went into medicine to help people. This sounds cliché, but it really is the basis for why I enjoy being a physician.
How did you choose orthopedics?
I ran track in high school, so orthopedics peaked my interest when I saw the close relationship between sports injuries and athletes. In medical school, I found that I enjoyed being able to use my skills to help patients get back to what they enjoy after an injury or condition occurred.
