Rachel E. Wilson, MD
What are a few interesting facts that people may not know about you?
I love to travel and one of my goals is to visit every continent. I have two continents left: South America and Antarctica. I also recently discovered a new hobby, gardening. It has been much easier gardening in Minnesota than in the red clay soil of North Carolina!
Why did you go into medicine?
I wanted to pursue a career in medicine for as long as I can remember. My parents instilled in me a deep sense of gratitude for the blessings I’ve received and the strong desire to give back to my community. My love of science and passion for the human body, combined with a determination to help other people, made a career in medicine a natural choice for me.
What is your care philosophy?
I strive to treat each patient with respect and compassion, putting their best interests first. I approach all patient encounters with the understanding that every patient has a unique history and needs, in order to develop individualized and multimodal treatment plans.
What does your dream practice look like?
My dream practice consists of a diverse group of medical providers, including other non-operative medical providers, surgeons, physical and occupational therapists, and pain psychologists, who collaborate to provide the most up-to-date and comprehensive care for patients. It is one in which providing education and resources to patients is emphasized, and there are no roadblocks for patients to seek and receive the best quality care.
What is your favorite quote?

Dr. Wilson will practice at TCO’s Eden Prairie and Edina – Crosstown locations.
