I had such an exceptional experience at TCO Breast Health for my post-lumpectomy and lymph node/radiation physical therapy. Ingrid Weddig has been nothing short of extraordinary. She gives her whole heart and full attention to every single appointment, and her depth of knowledge is matched only by her compassion. She brought me so much hope, not just through her expertise, but through her own life experience and the stories of the strong women she has cared for. With Ingrid, I have always felt like I am receiving the absolute best care possible, from someone who truly understands what this journey feels like. It is so scary to go through all of this. My life is busy with two kiddos and work that I don’t have time to waste. Ingrid and the TCO team get right down to business while supporting me emotionally at the same time. I could literally go on and on. When I went to start writing this, it was neat to see the other testimonials because I was like “yes yes yes!” while reading what other women had to say. I hope this helps at least one person, and I hope this affirms the beautiful work that these therapists do in our community.

I also had sessions with Renata and Anna, and they were both wonderful. They were skilled, attentive, and genuinely caring. I felt completely supported no matter who I saw, and I honestly cannot imagine going through treatment without this program. I am so grateful I heard about the incredible program that Renata and Ingrid created. It became one of the most meaningful and healing parts of my recovery. I am grateful to the other women who passed on the information about TCO.

The entire team at TCO Breast Health has played such an important role in helping me heal both physically and emotionally. I had a double mastectomy in June 2024 and began working with Ingrid Weddig for physical therapy 3-weeks later. I was very nervous since my surgery was a choice due to a BRCA mutation and not related to cancer. Some people do not agree with a flat closure for the surgery, but that is what I chose to have done. I was surprised that it didn’t matter why I was there or what closure I had decided on, I was always given the best care from Ingrid. She asked me about my goals and what activities I wanted to work towards. She tailored my therapy to exactly what I needed and when I needed it. She answered all my questions and calmed my fears. I could tell how much experience she had as she easily navigated any of my struggles that appeared during the recovery process. Once she learned I was scheduled for a revision surgery, she adjusted her plan for me again so I could best prepare my body to go into surgery strong. I am happy to say that I am almost 100% back to normal. Most days, I don’t even realize I had surgery at all. Ingrid made my recovery so much easier, and I am so thankful that my surgeon referred me to her and Twin Cities Orthopedics. I had a fantastic experience with TCO!

After having a rocky year with breast cancer needing a lumpectomy with 2 revisions and radiation. I had started to develop lymphedema. The current therapist I was seeing for 4 months was not making a significant difference in my lymphedema, cording and scar tissue issues. In fact, I was progressing with my lymphedema and scar tissue issues. My Breast Specialist PA recommended I see Ingrid Weddig. Within the first 3 weeks of seeing Ingrid I was amazed at the significant difference she was making.

She also gave me many tools in the toolbox to help with both the lymphedema and cording. I was able to get a lymphatic pump, sleeve, compression bra. Not only is Ingrid knowledgeable in the treatment of symptoms in how to care for her cancer patients, she also a great teacher and did a great job teaching me the ways to help reduce my issues. I honestly don’t want to know what would have happened had I not had her intervene and help. I would have had full blown lymphedema, whereas now, it is just mild. Not only was she excellent at her skill and ability to help, but she had the best personality. She valued my input and understood my journey, showed compassion and empathy. She could still make me smile on my tough days. I truly have never met anyone so passionate about helping breast cancer patients. You can see, she truly loves what she does and her patients.

I will be forever grateful for Ingrid for helping me to physically and emotionally overcome this journey. She is by far the best and has truly found her calling. So grateful that she had the passion to develop this program for breast cancer patients. She truly saved the quality of my life and I will forever be grateful.

In 2012, I was first diagnosed with breast cancer and was referred to Ingrid Weddig for scar management therapy. I have been had five recurrences, and I’ve seen Ingrid throughout all of my treatments. Have seen all that she has done to create awareness as well as an amazing TCO Breast Health Therapy Program to help those with breast cancer. She has met obstacles along the way but continues to fight for quality care for survivors.

After my cancer diagnosis and double mastectomy, my oncologist referred me to TCO’s Breast Health Program for help with swelling and post-op recovery. This program is fantastic! I met with Jordan Mills, and she helped me process the changes my body was experiencing. My flexibility increased and my swelling decreased. I would not have made it through radiation without her help. To me, this was more than just physical therapy. Jordan helped me understand my emotions and how I can feel normal again. I cannot say enough about the importance that this program played in my recovery process. Thank you!

I first met Ingrid Weddig back in October of 2023. I had to have a double mastectomy due to an excessive amount of fibroadenomas in both breasts. The plan was to have a double mastectomy and then place the expanders on that same day. Unfortunately, it did not go that way. I ended up having extremely thin skin, and losing about two quarts of blood, so they had to stop the procedure. I woke up after about six hours thinking I was still going to have something, to having nothing. It was the worst day of my life. I was referred to Ingrid, who works with patients through TCO’s Breast Health Program. At that time I was thinking, “What could physical therapy do for me in this situation?” The first day I met Ingrid we went over things, and she asked me if I had some sort of a timeline for me to be able to get my next surgery. I did, and she got it done! She has been amazing throughout my entire journey, and I couldn’t imagine working with anyone other than Ingrid. She cares SO deeply about her patients and her work, and it shows. She has brought her program so far since I have known her.

Ingrid Weddig has been instrumental in helping me maintain optimal health and full physical movement in my arm following the onset of lymphedema, which occurred after my cancer treatment when over 26 lymph nodes were removed and I received radiation. The therapy sessions with Ingrid helped keep my lymphatic pain and inflammation manageable. Her positivity, energy and can do spirit have helped tremendously as well. TCO and Ingrid Weddig’s essential work have been instrumental in maintaining my quality of life too!

I began therapy at TCO with Ingrid Weddig after my double mastectomy in May of 2022. I was new to the area and didn’t know anyone. My appointments with Ingrid were the only time I really had any contact with another person outside of chemo, radiation, and the copious doctor’s appointments. Ingrid is one of the kindest people whom I’ve ever been blessed to meet. She is incredibly knowledgeable and gave me hope when I felt like there was none. I am so grateful to both she and Anna Morrison, who helped me through what was a very difficult couple of years. I cannot say enough positive things about them, and TCO’s Breast Health Program. It is very needed.

I have had the pleasure of working with Renata for almost a year. I met her when I was getting ready for a lumpectomy for breast cancer in November, 2023. (It was a colleague of hers, to whom I am so grateful, that referred me to see Renata.) Renata provided a great deal of pre-operative information that was very helpful and reassuring. I then saw her after surgery where again, she was supportive, informative and just the professional I needed.

I wish I had all the correct words to describe how much I appreciate her knowledge, “bed side manner”, support and guidance. The surgery was a scary, anxiety producing time for me, and she made it much less so. She continues to provide support, knowledge and care for my ongoing issues with lymphedema. I can’t imagine my treatment team without her.

I recently had a preventative mastectomy due to being at high risk for breast cancer. After the surgery, my team recommended that I start physical therapy with Renata Braudy through TCO’s Breast Health Program. My situation was not the norm, and so I was worried about how PT would go. Immediately after meeting Renata, I knew I was in great hands. It was evident that she not only had a ton of knowledge but also a passion for taking care of women post-mastectomy. What stood out to me was Renata’s ability to not only treat my symptoms but also explain the underlying causes, empowering me with knowledge about my body. She developed a plan that was specific to my goals and always valued my input. This personalized plan helped me regain strength and mobility, and I was able to get back into the gym and lift weights just as heavy (and even heavier!) than I was before surgery. I am forever grateful for the role Renata played in my recovery.
