I had a right shoulder joint replacement. Dr. Hunt did a phenomenal job! I had the nerve block which lasted three days and I had no pain. Icing helped with swelling as well. I was at the TCO EXCEL recovery suite overnight. Everyone there was very kind and took good care of me. They are where attentive to my needs. I highly recommend TCO!

Dr. Bircher took the time to explain everything in detail to me. The surgery was a complete success. Three months after surgery, I was walking 3 miles a day. Five months after surgery, I was riding my bike 20 miles every other day. Today, I am seven months post-surgery, and I have no pain. I am 66 years old, and I feel great. After working in the construction industry for 40 years, I know my knee is next. I would not hesitate to go back to Dr. Bircher.

Aric Minke at TCO Hudson went above and beyond to find an appointment date that fit my schedule. I get uneasy when it comes to the medical world for various reasons. When I came to my appointment, he was so friendly. He even came over to me, assured me, and helped me with my paperwork. I have never received such personal assistance. He is also very fun to visit with. Aric has a genuine way about him, and I have never had such a great experience walking into a clinic and checking in.

Ben Danovsky helped me individualize my physical therapy. He really listened and validated my concerns. He even used his lunch hour to see me. He is very knowledgeable and presented himself well. I cannot say enough about how great Ben was with me. I would recommend him to anyone in a “heartbeat” and I will be continuing my therapy program with him. I am looking forward to it.

My knee first surgery and recovery went very well with Dr. Michael R. Johnson. I was not nervous about my second surgery with him. I am back doing agility with my dog. I have recommended Dr. Johnson to many people who are nervous about having total knee replacement.

Just remember if you want positive results, you need to work hard and always look towards the bigger picture. You won’t always like it, but it is important to remember why you decided to proceed with your procedure. The pain and discomfort (at times) is part of the healing.

I’m sad that Dr. Nemanich is retiring. I guess that means that my right knee can never go bad!

Rarely do I walk without thinking about how grateful I am for my new hip and knee which are pain free! Although my left knee replacement was more painful than the other surgeries I have had in my life, it was well worth it. I have zero pain in my knee or hip, and they feel like my own. I can bend, stretch, and walk several miles without any pain. I am incredibly thankful. Dr. Nemanich is the best!
