I was very active, enjoying zumba until my hip bothered me when I walked. I had to quit about 4 years ago, and then I found out I had advanced hip arthritis, due to an injury 20 years previously. At the end of last year, when my hip began to hurt with each step, I knew I had to do something. However, I didn't want traditional hip surgery, with all the pain and recovery time. I then found out a co-worker was scheduled for the same surgery so found out who was doing it. I made an appointment with the same surgeon,
Dr. O'Neill, and scheduled surgery for the next month. The whole process was amazing; the entire team was so caring and attentive, and I felt very well cared for and comfortable. Recovery was very fast, and I can now walk and ride my bike with no pain. No pain makes living so much better!
