On 6/7/2016 I had a total hip replacement of my left hip. TCO did an outstanding job from start to finish. At 62, I was not especially interested in convalescing in a hospital setting. The surgery suites provided the perfect alternative. In fact, I wanted to stay longer. 🙂

Dr. Anseth and the entire TCO/EXCEL team was the ideal group for my hip replacement procedure. What I appreciated most was their positive attitudes and the realistic expectations they laid out for me. They expected my recovery to take about 6 weeks and it did. They were always encouraging and promptly answered any of my questions/concerns.  If I should ever need any future orthopedic surgeries, TCO/EXCEL will be the program for me!

Fabulous! I was back at work the following week and on an airplane to the West Coast by myself within 3 weeks of the surgery. The EXCEL program and Dr. O’Neill were great. They allowed me to heal at my pace and once they gave me the go ahead – I was off! There was no stopping me. This surgery was a non-even in my life. Just the way it should be.

My surgery and my time at the 212 Surgery Center and recovery suite was amazing. My physical therapy went very well. I have been working out, whether it be swimming in the pool, running on the treadmill, or doing the exercise bike. I do it every day! I am doing really well thanks to Dr. Meyer and his Physician Assistant, Summer. I thank them both and thank them for my easy retirement!

A few years ago I was in a major car accident. I was hit from the side, my car rolled, and I was ejected, resulting in a broken arm and a collapsed lung. I was lucky to be alive. I initially received care from a physician who advised that I try to heal naturally and only partake in physical therapy. After months of pain and frustration, I was referred to Dr. Lervick at Twin Cities Orthopedics. He analyzed my arm and told me I needed surgery ASAP. He was very accommodating of my schedule. He joked that he would let me celebrate St. Patrick’s day with my friends and then we’d get down to business. I scheduled my surgery a few days after my first appointment with him.

Given the circumstances, Dr. Lervick performed a miracle. Although my arm may need further treatment in the future, I know that it is 1000 times better after the care of Dr. Lervick and his team. I appreciate everything he has done and am very thankful for Dr. Lervick and Twin Cities Orthopedics.

As an avid golfer and pickleball player, I was experiencing knee join pain and was unable to enjoy the two sports I love.  I sought out an experienced (sports injuries) orthopedic doctor and located Dr. Arntson on the Twin Cities Orthopedics website and made an appointment with him.  After examining my knee, he initially suggested an MRI however, his second option was the use of a Reaction Knee Brace.  I’ve been wearing the brace now for three weeks particularly when I play Pickleball.  The brace has provided good support for those times when I move quickly on the court.  Thank you Dr. Arntson for your expertise with this issue.  I would highly recommend him to anyone who plays sports and would like to continue playing without pain.

My son had been misdiagnosed for his elbow injury before we came to TCO. Dr. Bakker came into the office and by sight alone saw that he had an ulnar nerve dislocation. He also detected by the prior x-ray that my son had, indeed, fractured his elbow weeks before, contrary to the report that we received at the time of the x-ray. We were impressed with Dr. Bakker’s manner of explanation and expertise, and ultimately, the successful result of the surgery. In addition, we found the staff from front desk to scheduling to nurses and attendants at TCO to be professional and efficient. Thanks for the high quality experience.

I injured my knee running this summer and it just wasn’t getting better. I was familiar with Twin Cities Orthopedics from the fantastic treatment my daughter received there so I sought out a physician that specialized in knees. From my first appointment, through diagnosis and treatment Dr. Hess and the staff at Twin Cities Orthopedics were professional, courteous and caring. Dr. Hess did an excellent job questioning me about my injury and giving me the information I needed to make a decision on how my injury would be treated. I would highly recommend Dr. Hess and Twin Cities Orthopedics to anyone in need of this type of service.

Dr. Coetzee did a total ankle replacement for me 3 years ago. It has been life changing. Before surgery, I had so much pain it kept me from leading a normal life. Walking was a challenge as well as climbing stairs and just day to day activities. It has been 3 years since my surgery and I am pain free! I highly recommend Dr. Coetzee and his staff!

I have been a patient of Dr.Wulf’s for a few years.  I had a total knee done this past summer and recovery has been long with some ups and downs.  But Dr. Wulf and his staff are awesome.  Their communication and follow through is very good.  He listens and makes a patient feel at ease.  He has very high expectations on recovery, he is honest, he is a perfectionist and that’s what makes him a phenomenal physician.  His staff is very understanding and patient.  The Physical Therapy group in Eden Prairie is awesome, and unbelievable as well.  Kevin, Nate, the other trainers  and the entire front desk staff really do care and push you until you are at your BEST! They ALL go above and beyond.  There were many tears shed and a lot of pain but they always gave a hug and a smile.  Thank you to all at TCO.

I just want to thank Dr.Erik Peterson and Fairview hospital for the services they provided. I can’t say enough about Dr.Peterson, he listened and explained everything I needed to know about the surgery and recovery time, and everything he said was right on. I was up and walked a few steps the day of surgery, used a walker for almost three weeks, and a cane for three weeks. The only real pain was laying on stitches. The services at Fairview hospital were excellent can’t say enough about the nurses. Thank you all.
