My AMAZING experience started from scheduling my appointment via phone with her staff. They had her booked until Thursday, a whole week out, but they were aware of my pain and urgency and got me in the next morning to see her to get my knee checked out. I arrived to my appointment the next day 50 minutes early which I let the staff at the front know I was early and no worries. I no more than sat down after doing my paperwork and out comes a lady to take me back already! I was shocked! I got into the room, explained everything and they started taking images right away! The flow was going amazing, each person super friendly and service crazy good! I finished images and took me back to my room which not much longer in pops Dr. Saterbak and her assistant! I was again shocked, as most places I am used to waiting forever in the room for the Dr. She did her exams and tests and she re-sorted her whole schedule out to fit me to go get an MRI right away this morning and find out today the results with her shuffling surgery and other patients and me to get everything done hopefully by 2pm today. I was super thrilled and agreed of course. I got approved for my MRI in less then a minute, got walked down there by a super friendly staff member and paperwork completed right away. After that, I was greeted by an awesome, friendly MRI technician! He went through everything with me, locked my stuff up and made me comfortable and it went super fast! When finished, he helped me up and walked me back down to Dr. Saterbak’s unit to be seen right away! I was planning to see her around 1:30pm and it was around 9:30am and I already had images, test, MRI and results ready to be told to me!! I was blown away by the speed and efficiency to make this go so smoothly! I got the results and scheduled surgery right away. All I can say is, I won’t recommend anywhere else, nor anyone else! This place actually made me feel at ease and comfortable which is hard to find places like this, but I found mine! I couldn’t say enough about the staff there and doctor. They were superb. Hand offs to each other were so smooth and friendly and they are true experts at what they do! The doctor, she is amazing and super knowledgeable supported with an expert team! I am truly happy and blessed to have been so lucky to find her. I will recommend everyone here and share my wonderful experience with everyone! Thank you all!!

I had my left meniscus repaired in October 2013 with Dr. Christopher Meyer at the Edina- Crosstown Surgery Center.

I had the best care and felt so comfortable with Dr. Meyer. He truly is the best orthopedic knee surgeon in the Twin Cities area! Dr. Meyer knows about meniscus tears and he is so knowledgeable and experienced. My knee healed very well! Listening to Dr. Meyer and taking the full 12 weeks recovering before I returned to my normal exercising was very important for healing!

I recommend Dr. Meyer all the time to friends in the area. He is the best! I truly appreciate his excellent care and I can attest that he is a great asset to the TCO team.

I could not have been happier with TCO- from start to finish it has been a very positive experience. All were so good to always communicate so I knew what to expect in time leading up to surgery, through surgery and throughout the recovery process. Very happy with Dr. Mair, Michelle, and Justine- they all took the time to answer all of my questions and let me know exactly what to expect. I also loved having surgery at the Two Twelve Surgery Center. It was a perfect fit for me! The room was great, nurses were so nice, great food, room was nice and quiet.

One thing I really appreciate is that Dr. Mair is very conservative. He did not recommend surgery until we had looked at all my options. I was so thankful that he was my doctor throughout the time leading up to surgery, during surgery and recovery. I had total confidence in Dr. Mair and his team. They have been wonderful!

In March, it will be two years since Dr. Knowlan replaced both of my knees. There are no words to express my appreciation. I was a 62 year old beat up P.E teacher with osteoarthritis and Dr. Knowlan came up with a plan for a bilateral knee replacement. Because of his surgical skills, I was on the driving range one month later and playing one week after that. Two years later and I have no need for ibuprofen, Tylenol, etc. I can walk daily for 5 miles and do the elliptical for 45 minutes with no pain and no discomfort. Great surgeon and wonderful physical therapists.

After more than five years of supportive, conservative knee pain management, my strength and stability had collapsed. It became apparent by continued pain, an x-ray and MRI, that it was my time for a total knee replacement. Dr. Heikes had been helping me manage my pain for years and helped as I moved into needing a new knee. Having the EXCEL Program as an option with TCO made my decision to do it now, that much easier.

Focused, multidisciplinary post-operative care in a non-hospital environment was optimal for me and my family. With my insurances’ approval, I took part in the TCO EXCEL Program having a left total knee replacement in June of 2015. I received top notch care and was walking down the hall that afternoon after an intense physical and occupational therapy session. With my own training at home, I am not looking back! Many adventures await!

I would like to thank Dr. Sanders for both of my new knees! I had some trouble with my knees and called Ridgeview to see if I could come in and have them check me out. I was sent to Dr. Peter Sanders. His staff and himself were the best. We did the first knee and it went fabulous. I did not know anything about it but he made it the greatest experience I have had in the medical field! Thank you Dr. Peter Sanders and his staff!

Leah Zimmerman walked me through this whole procedure which made it so much easier.  I knew I could always reach her when contacting Dr. Owen O’Neill, or even Alyssa, was a bit more challenging. Often she could answer my ‘paranoid’ concerns without having to bother Dr. Owen O’Neill.

This program is one of the best programs TCO initiated, and I am blessed to be a recipient.

And as importantly, participating in TCO’s own physical therapy program was another blessing.  As I have mentioned Karen Edmonson… well I can’t say enough about her.  She is a treasure indeed.  I continue to get increased ‘bend’ and it is because of the exercises, ‘tricks of the trade’, etc. that she has taught me….all while keeping in mind a pulled muscle, arthritis in my lower back, and at one point hip tendonitis.  Fourteen years ago I was not so blessed to have TCO physical therapy, and it has made a world of difference.   (Can already bend my ‘new’ knee farther than I can my 14-yr. old knee.)

I am doing things now I NEVER could do before my surgery.  In addition, my chiropractor is amazed at how straight I am. He has never seen my pelvis straight as long as I have been going to him, which is 5-10 years.   Of course Dr. Owen O’Neill is my hero; and Dr. Jesse, too, has been wonderful.

Thanks thanks thanks to the entire TCO staff.  I am blessed indeed.

I tore my ACL about two months ago now and was absolutely blown away at the service I got from both Dr. Heikes and TCO. From the initial visit, to the MRI, to the surgery, I was given amazing service. I have had other surgeries where the doctor barely remembers your name, but that wasn’t the case with Dr. Heikes. She did such a great job explaining what the process, recovery, PT was going to look like and even went over and above checking in with me post-op. I coach soccer at Edina High School and have recommended Dr. Heikes and TCO to many of my athletes. They all come back to me saying the same thing, “Dr. Heikes was awesome!” I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend TCO or Dr. Heikes!

On Dec. 3, 2012, I fell from a ladder hanging Christmas lights. My kneecap was broken into three pieces, and my wrist was broken from trying to catch the fall. My wrist was at right angle to my forearm. Dr. Arthur did the surgery, and I have never been happier. No problems, no aches, just healing from a terrible fall. My wife and I both talk about how excellent the surgery went, even today, September 2015. I would certainly recommend Dr. Arthur to anyone, anytime.

I was most definitely not looking forward to my surgery beforehand but I couldn’t be more pleased with Dr. Barry and his team. I was very impressed with his patience and making sure I (and my wife) had all questions answered and not once did I feel like I was just a knee.
