Alexa Horning, PT, DPT, is a lower-extremity specialist that works closely with hip rehabilitation both non-operative and post-operative conditions. She also has a special interest in working with athletes, specializing in working with dancers. As a former competitive dancer and past dance coach, she has extensive knowledge into the competitive nature of the sport and how to return athletes to play after injuries.

Alexa is a passionate and motivated physical therapist that is dedicated to help each patient reach their highest level of function, recover from injury, and reach their goals. She utilizes an evidence-based approach to treat her patients through creating an individualized treatment plan based on functional exercise, patient education, and hands-on manual techniques, including soft tissue releasing, joint mobilization, and dry needling.

When she is not treating patients, Alexa loves spending time with her husband, two kids, and dog. She also loves hiking, traveling, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.
