Carissa Beeksma, PT, DPT, earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois. Prior to her graduate studies, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. She has a strong interest in both sports medicine and treating pediatric patients. Her goal is to provide an individualized treatment plan to each patient, helping them return to the activities and sports they love and assist them in leading a healthy, active lifestyle overall. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, riding her horse, and being outdoors with her two dogs.
