About

Carla Kinnunen, PT, DPT, earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. Prior to her degree program, she worked in medical research focused on hip osteoarthritis and femoroacetabular impingement. This research combined with her sports background in Division I rowing, led Carla to develop passion for understanding how to optimize the body’s ability to move, function, and perform. Her rehabilitation approach integrates evidence-based practice and patient-centered programming to optimize performance and help patients reach their individualized goals.

Carla grew up in Maple Grove, Minnesota. Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys being active throughout the Minnesota seasons by snowboarding, Nordic skiing, biking, and walking her dog.
