Courtney Kovacs, PT, DPT, is a licensed Physical Therapist by the State of Minnesota Board of Physical Therapy. She works with patients of all ages, with all orthopedic conditions. As a former collegiate athlete, she has a special interest in sports medicine and rehabilitation of the shoulder and knee. Her treatment approach focuses on patient education, therapeutic exercise, and manual therapy techniques to help restore function and enhance quality of life. She leads the throwing program for Twin Cities Orthopedics in Maple Grove, Minnesota. The Twin Cities Orthopedics Interval Throwing Program integrates the most current concepts in injury prevention with research-based return to throwing progressions. Courtney has over eighteen years of experience in softball and went on to pitch for the Winona State University Softball team for four years. In her leisure time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
