Dan Smith, PT, DPT, ATC, OCS, SCS, became interested in the healthcare field after experiencing orthopedic and sports related injuries as a high school athlete. As an athletic trainer, Dan has worked with athletes of various ages, sports, and level of competition. He has worked closely with athletes recovering from a wide range of sports related injuries and develops an individualized rehabilitation program to promote an optimal return to sport. As a physical therapist in the orthopedic and sports medicine field, he utilizes evidence-based practice to develop a treatment program which supports each individual in achieving their personal goals. Dan enjoys spending time with family and friends, including his wife and two dogs Deli and Belle, outdoor activities on the Minnesota North Shore and cheering on Minnesota sports teams.
