Fernando Espinosa, PT, DPT, is a sports and orthopedic Physical Therapist with a passion for helping his patients return to the activities they enjoy. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Fernando completed a Sports Physical Therapy Residency at the University of Miami, where he worked closely with the Miami Hurricanes football and baseball programs. Additionally, he gained experience treating swimming, diving, rowing, and tennis athletes in the Hurricanes’ athletic training room. Fernando specializes in rehabilitating shoulder and elbow injuries in overhead athletes. Furthermore, he has rehabilitated athletes following ACL reconstruction surgery and other complex knee injuries. He has experience working with athletes of all ages and skill levels, from high school athletes to collegiate and professional baseball players. Outside of his professional commitments, Fernando enjoys exploring the Twin Cities, traveling, working out, and spending time with friends and family.
