Heather Schroeder, PT, OCS, graduated from the University of Alberta with her degree in Physical Therapy in 2000. Before joining TCO in 2017, she worked in a private practice physical therapy clinic for six years and then at a pain clinic for 11 years as a physical therapist and physical therapist manager. Heather enjoys working with patients of all ages and abilities. Her treatment philosophy involves assessing the patient as a whole, not just the body part where they are having pain, and using manual therapy techniques along with therapeutic exercise to help the patient return to the activities they enjoy. With a varied athletic background herself, she can empathize and relate to many sports related injuries. She has worked with a variety of different sports teams and is currently working with the University of Minnesota Men’s Rugby Team. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her husband and her son, cook, spend time outdoors, exercise, and travel.
