Joanna Vermedahl, PT, DPT, developed a passion for movement growing up as a dancer. Through her many years as a dancer and rehabilitating from her own injuries, she cultivated a special appreciation for treating the hip and lower extremity, specifically the foot/ankle. She has completed extensive training in manual techniques for the hip and lower extremity, dry needling, and pilates based rehab. She enjoys treating patients with an individualized mix of hands-on approaches and functional exercise progressions. Joanna believes patients have the greatest opportunity for success when they are provided education regarding their diagnosis and individualized strategies to manage their conditions. She strives to empower patients to adopt optimal movement patterns to sustain engagement in the activities they love.
Joanna enjoys an active lifestyle dabbling in various types of fitness and walking around the lakes with family and friends.
