Joe Wavra, MPT, CGFI, received his master’s in physical therapy from the University of Wisconsin- LaCrosse. He has been practicing in the outpatient orthopedics setting since he graduated in 2003. He utilizes an evidence-based treatment approach that combines therapeutic exercise with manual therapy in order to help his patients achieve their goals. Joe prioritizes connecting with his patients in order to help them stay motivated and enjoy their physical therapy journey. He enjoys treating patients at all age levels with a wide variety of orthopedic injuries. Joe has a passion for working with golfers and helping them improve their fitness and swing mechanics in order to improve performance and prevent injury. He also has extensive experience rehabilitating shoulder and hip injuries as well as vestibular rehab.
Outside of work Joe enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, golfing, basketball, downhill skiing, and playing the guitar.
