About

Karen Edmonson, DPT, OCS, attended Ripon College in Wisconsin with a major in Biology, and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse in 2011. Karen spent her first two years as a PT in Gilbert, Arizona, where she enjoyed the heat and the mountains. She and her husband moved to Minnesota in 2013 and she has been working for Twin Cities Orthopedics ever since. She loves taking the time to educate her patients on their conditions, explain the purpose behind exercises or manual work, and watch them become independent and succeed. Karen believes that mindset and attitude play a significant role in outcome. In her free time, Karen enjoys seeing action/thriller flicks with her husband, playing recreational sports like kickball and Ultimate Frisbee, and hanging out with her young son.
