About

Mark Wilcox, PT, DPT, OCS, is a physical therapist who graduated from the University of South Dakota with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science from Black Hills State University if 2014. As a former athlete, participating in soccer, tennis, swimming, cycling, and collegiate track and cross country, he has had many personal experiences with rehab and coming back from injury. Currently he enjoys trail running with his dogs in the fall, Nordic skiing in the winter, and cycling in the summer months. He also enjoys functional strength training and has worked as a Level-1 CrossFit trainer for CrossFit athletes. His previous sports participation and clinical interests led to him to enjoy treating shoulder, spine, and hip diagnoses. Mark uses a combination of dry needling, manual therapy, and individualized exercises throughout his treatments to help patients achieve their goals. When away from work, Mark keeps busy spending time outdoors in all seasons with his family including spouse, three children, and two dogs. Hiking, riding bikes, sledding, and camping are fun family activities. He enjoys biking with friends to different micro-breweries in the summer months.
