Rob Himmerick, PT, DPT, SCS, is a residency-trained board certified Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists. Rob has 10+ years of experience, specializing in throwing-related injuries of the shoulder and elbow, knee injuries, and return-to-sport rehabilitation. He treats athletes of all ages and skill levels, from youth to professionals, helping them return to the sports and activities they love. Rob provides evidence-based care with a unique plan tailored to each individual, and patients appreciate his creative approach, ability to listen, and the time he takes to educate them about the “why” behind the care they are receiving. Rob is active in the academic community as a faculty member for a sports physical therapy residency program, lecturer at local and national conferences, and as a conference planning committee member.
Outside of work, Rob enjoys time with his wife, two sons, and black lab “Marty”. He loves coaching his son’s youth sports teams and experiencing the outdoors, including camping and fishing in the Boundary Waters.
