11 TCO physicians named 2019 Top Doctors
Eleven Twin Cities Orthopedics physicians were named 2019 Top Doctors by Mpls.St.Paul Magazine. The annual list is compiled through 5,000 surveys from randomly selected licensed doctors and nurses in the Twin Cities metro area. Survey participants are asked to name two physicians in several medical specialty areas they would trust to care for a loved one.

Scott Anseth, MD
Dr. Scott Anseth is a reconstructive surgery fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who earned his medical degree from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine. He completed an Orthopedic Lower Extremity Reconstruction Fellowship at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California. Dr. Anseth practices at TCO’s Eden Prairie and Edina – Crosstown locations.
Chris Coetzee, MD
Dr. Chris Coetzee is a foot and ankle fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who earned his medical degree from the University of Pretoria School of Medicine in South Africa. He completed his Trauma Fellowship in Davos, Switzerland, and a Foot and Ankle Fellowship at the University of Washington and Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Dr. Coetzee practices at TCO’s Eagan – Viking Lakes location.
Allan Hunt, MD
Dr. Allan Hunt is an orthopedic surgeon who earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine. Dr. Hunt practices at TCO’s Edina – Crosstown and Plymouth locations.
Jay Kruse, MD

Dr. Christopher Larson is a sports medicine fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School. Clare McCarthy, MD
Dr. Clare McCarthy is a hand and upper extremity fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who earned her medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. Scott McGarvey, MD
