Develop improved sideline management in terms of essential equipment, pre-game tasks, emergency action planning, weather considerations, and appropriate communication lines
Explain specific patient care instructions for scenarios with the sports medicine team as a wholistic approach, including: ACL from injury to return to sport, mental health professionals and resilience training, primary care and general medical conditions, and nutrition for specialized diets
Be able to execute spine boarding, k-taping, sideline splinting, and vestibular therapy exercises during a hands-on demonstration
Athletic Trainers: Twin Cities Orthopedics (BOC AP#: P8588) is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education to Certified Athletic Trainers. This program is eligible for a maximum of 6.0 hours of Category A hours/CEU’s. ATs should claim only those hours actually spent in the educational program.

Q: Is this a “live” event?
A: YES! We will not be having a virtual aspect to the event this year. The goal is to have hands on practice for the spine boarding and for networking.
Q: What is the dress code and PPE restrictions?
A: Wear something comfortable as we will be hands-on for the spine boarding. COVID restrictions will be addressed closer to the event date and based on CDC guidelines at that time.
Q: Where do we enter Securian Financial Club at CHS Field?
A: Just north of the main gates at the Securian entrance.
Q: Where should I park?
A: Please utilize any of the surface lots or ramps surrounding CHS Field. Additional parking information can be found here.
Q: Will food be provided?
A: We will provide breakfast and lunch. Any specific dietary restrictions or food allergies should be noted during registration.
