I've had four knee replacements previously and last summer I was having pain in my left knee. We thought it would be a simple surgery. I had two very serious infections and I ended up having three surgeries to have a rod placed from my hip to my ankle. I had excellent care and Dr. Szalapski was always very honest with me.
