I spent my junior year of high school in constant pain because of my shoulder injury. I saw several doctors to get help with the pain and tried everything from physical therapy, acupuncture and massage. My shoulder pain continued to get worse. I got to the point that I could not concentrate at school because of the pain and I had to quit basketball. With cortisone shots I was able to play softball but I was still in significant pain. After the platelet rich plasma (PRP) injection, I was soon able to get the full range of motion back in my shoulder. I am fully enjoying my senior year pain-free. I am 3 weeks into the softball season and still completely pain free in my shoulder. I wish I would have had the PRP injection much sooner. Thank you,
