Dr. Mair performed my surgery on a Monday morning and I was home in the afternoon. The following Monday I kept my
arm in the sling but I went dancing. After a couple of weeks, I was back to volunteering. I had very little pain and took very few meds. For two weeks I slept in a recliner and iced almost constantly during the day. Once I started rehab, I did daily exercises for about two months and intermittently for about six months. I am so glad I did this surgery. I have complete pain-free movement, except I can’t quite get my arm completely behind my back, which Dr. Mair had told me before the surgery. I golf, garden, dance, fix my hair, and do everything I want to do. He was so nice to work with. His assistant
