This is just to let you know how pleased I am with the surgery. It is so good to not experience pain, limping, etc. anymore. Dr. Arntson was superb! He takes genuine interest in the patient and also takes time to address any question without making one feel rushed. I chose Dr. Arntson because a friend of mine had him do two shoulder replacements and she couldn’t say enough nice things about him. I have suggested him to several of my friends and two are for sure going to see him. Thank you for a “10” experience. Also, I am very grateful for the kindness shown by the Mercy Hospital staff including the doctor of anesthesiology and his assistant. Both were very understanding and kind.

Hi Dr. Coetzee and team! I hope you all are doing well! I just wanted to give you all an update as I am back to running and working out hard! I don’t even think about my foot anymore when I go out for a run and am pretty much doing the same things I was before my surgery! I am so excited for the season ahead and just wanted to express my gratitude because I wouldn’t be where I am now without the help of all of you! I am sincerely grateful for all of your kindness and generosity, as it made a huge difference in my life. Thank you all again so much for comforting me during my surgery and reassuring me that it would all be OK! I am forever grateful for my experience at Twin Cities Orthopedics. With that, I am hoping to be running an indoor track meet at the University of Minnesota in the middle of February potentially, so if I do end up racing there, I will let you know! 🙂

My hip replacement by Dr. Meyer has changed my physical life. I struggled with neck pain for at least 10 years but after my hip surgery found it much easier to walk upright and correct my posture, which I have done at 65 years old. My chronic neck pain is now 90% gone! And my hip? Incredible! No pain, perfect! I feel whole again!

I am continuing to heal. I appreciate very much the high level of care that I have received through this entire process with all involved from Dr. Meyer, TCO, and Ridgeview Medical Center! I look forward to my knee fully healed.

Three years after my first total knee replacement went awry, I have now had a highly successful replacement — of the replacement. Dr. Arntson’s reputation in the community for being a gifted surgeon made my decision easy when selecting him. What came as an unexpected bonus was that his kindness and underlying sense of humor during office and hospital interactions with him brought me joy.

I suffered with plantar fasciitis for three years. I did everything that I could to resolve this problem, as every step I took was filled with pain. It was only after meeting with Dr. Moser, who ordered an MRI of my feet, that it was determined that a platelet rich plasma (PRP) injection was my hope for healing. It was my answer! I am grateful and mostly pain free! I would recommend this treatment to others without reservation.

I am so pleased with my surgical experience. Facing a total hip replacement can be scary. The experience went so much better than I expected. I know every person is different but, at the end of 6 weeks, I have no pain or discomfort. Dr. Arntson – thanks for your skill and encouragement.

I spent my junior year of high school in constant pain because of my shoulder injury. I saw several doctors to get help with the pain and tried everything from physical therapy, acupuncture and massage. My shoulder pain continued to get worse. I got to the point that I could not concentrate at school because of the pain and I had to quit basketball. With cortisone shots I was able to play softball but I was still in significant pain. After the platelet rich plasma (PRP) injection, I was soon able to get the full range of motion back in my shoulder. I am fully enjoying my senior year pain-free. I am 3 weeks into the softball season and still completely pain free in my shoulder. I wish I would have had the PRP injection much sooner. Thank you, Dr. Holmes!

I was a very active person who hiked, biked, played tennis two hours a day, lifted weights and did many things during the day. My knee was very worn out and I became extremely debilitated. My pain was at a 10 and walking was extremely difficult as was sleeping. I felt like I couldn’t do anything without intense pain. After I had the surgery and went through strenuous physical therapy, I am now back to doing everything I like to do without pain. It took approximately 4 1/2 months to get back playing high-level tennis and now I’m playing three hours a day. I had absolutely no idea that I could feel as good as I feel doing the things that I love. I would have the surgery again if needed! Dr. Meyer did a great job! I would highly recommend him. The nurses and the support team were fabulous too.

Although I am still in the early stages of total recovery (10 weeks), I’m amazed at how well the surgery by Dr. Kelly and recovery have gone. Surgery pain was quick to subside (within days) and the shoulder pain (bone on bone + bone spurs) was totally gone immediately. Very thankful and pleased with the elimination of the day to day pain. By following PT plans, I’ve been able to notice constant improvement of restoring mobility and strength. Both are already much better than before the surgery and getting better every day. Can’t wait to get the other one fixed too. THANKS!
