We made an appointment with Dr. Cole a couple of days after my daughter sustained her first concussion while playing lacrosse. Quite a surprise when we got in the next day! We met with Fred initially and he ran my daughter through a series of questions and tests. He was confident in the fact that she had a concussion but Dr. Cole would confirm it. Dr. Cole did confirm the concussion and provided us with a game plan that allowed for my daughter to get back to normal activity as soon as possible. We did physical therapy with Michael Steiner at TCO Eagan and he was fantastic overall. Whether it was how much he cared for my daughter or continually letting us know what he’s seeing and how we should react to it. In addition to PT, my daughter needed vision therapy as well. Dr. Cole and Michael Steiner suggested eye therapy with Dr. Trent Cole in order to bring my daughter’s eyes back to normal. The care provided by all three doctors was phenomenal and I would highly recommend going to Dr. Cole if you’re ever in the position we were.

Speaking for the surgery itself, I am already amazed after only 5 weeks, how much of the pain I was having in my knee before the surgery that is now basically gone. There is mild pain from the surgical process itself but I can tell that within months I will be able to do activities that I was severely restricted in doing before the surgery.

This renewed ability will allow me to continue work in my outdoor adventure ministry that would have been restricted otherwise! I can, with confidence, say that this is a life-changing procedure that I have had done.

I would also like to add that the whole process from diagnosis to follow-up has been extraordinary. The care that I have received has been far above my expectations. Dr. Meyer’s diagnosis, recommendations and, of course, his surgical skill have been excellent! Then, the care and follow-up by Sommer, the care by staff at the hospital and Aurora (Rachel!) and Alyssa at PCO, Burnsville for PT was absolutely amazing. Excellent experience!

I still have pain & stiffness from the surgery but I can tell that my knee will be 100% when it heals! Dr. Meyer did an amazing job!

I am able to do my daily activities much better. I am moving around my house without aid of cane or walker. I am able to drive without pain. I can shop for groceries and attend things such as church!

I have returned to a complete pain free normal life; cardio lifting weights walking snowmobiling riding horse bowling anything I want to do yippee!!!

Everyone at TCO was the best I could ask for. They took great care of me, like family. Also, everything was right there for my recovery. I will be getting my hand done next. Thank you all and see you again soon!

Last year I had a total replacement of my left knee with Dr. Owen O’Neill. I had my right knee totally replaced through TCO 10 years earlier and after some difficulty with that surgery, I was concerned about getting the second surgery. I went through TCO’s list of surgeons, looking for someone with a different approach to the procedure. I spoke with two different surgeons and settled on Dr. Owen O’Neill. He and his staff inspired confidence with their competence and thorough care description from start to finish. After a two-day hospital stay, I went home needing only over-the-counter meds and physical therapy assisting in my complete recovery. My only regret was waiting so many years to get relief. There was truly no comparison between my first surgery and my second. I would definitely encourage anyone considering a total knee replacement to consult with Dr. Owen O’Neill at TCO.

I can now do the things I could no longer do before the surgery like golfing, spinning and hopefully skiing.

My hip surgery done by Dr. Meyer has allowed me to walk regularly again without pain.

Outstanding results! I had both knees replaced with one year between the two procedures. Along with a terrific outcome, Abbott Northwestern Hospital had a great protocol which at the time included acupuncture for those interested. I felt I was in the best hands and that Dr. Anseth crafted my knees to be a perfect fit!
