From the very beginning I was extremely impressed with the team and Dr. O’Neill especially. The surgery went smooth, and I was home the next day. For a couple of days, I was pretty sore, but within a week I was very mobile, and didn’t need a cane or walker. I wouldn’t hesitate to enthusiastically recommend Dr. Owen O’Neill and his team!

I injured my left knee many years ago and then continued to punish it further through a 28-year military career, as well as training for marathons. Dr. James Bircher performed knee replacement surgery in March, and I was able to walk my daughter down the aisle at her wedding in June. Dr. Bircher did a great job, and I highly recommend him. Absolutely amazing results!

I am an 85-year-old woman who had arthritis pain in my knees. I saw Dr. O’Neill a couple of years ago and learned that I was not at the point of needing surgery. Therefore, I had to get injections until they no longer helped. Upon visiting Dr. O’Neill again last year, I learned that it was time. I had knee replacement surgery on both knees two months apart, doing the suggested exercises ahead of time. I am thankful to report that three months after my second surgery, I can walk two miles a day and have virtually no pain! Dr. O’Neill and his team are outstanding and ready to help in any way. I highly recommend them.

After surgery in January, I was able to start physical therapy with Brett Petersen a month later. Not only did I appreciate his honesty in my recovery, but his personalized treatment plan for me was motivating and thorough. Each week he listened and provided me with new exercises to aid in my recovery so I could return to normal activities. I’m grateful for all Brett did for me.

I wanted to write a letter of appreciation for the physical therapists I teamed up with to rehabilitate my shoulder after an injury. PTs Mike Carey, Travis Rasinski, and Peyton Landowski were all incredible to work with. As I progressed through the healing process, they were able to implement techniques and exercises that made my shoulder stronger. They targeted my injury to help increase my strength as I progressed. It was good to get their opinions regarding what I was going through, and they offered great solutions, which I am still using to recover completely. I feel my shoulder functioning at almost 100 percent.

I also want to thank Patient Service Representative Jana Munger for her customer service and for working with me on my scheduling. These employees are a wonderful asset to the Staples community.

I have had many surgeries in my 74 years and have never been treated so personally and kindly than with Sommer Vaughan. She was positive, helpful and went beyond. I am so grateful to her!

Dr. Ridley performed reconstructive surgery on my son’s shoulder, allowing him to return to football within months of the procedure. Pretty impressive and only possible because of the skill, expertise, and compassion that Dr. Ridley exudes in his practice. He brings to the table a personalized approach and experience as a collegiate athlete as well. We are incredibly thankful that my son has been able to continue to compete at a high level and remain free of any further injury to his shoulder. Thank you, Dr. Ridley!

I have been a patient of Dr. Owen O’Neill’s since October 18, 2013. As a patient, I was very bow legged as a result of family hereditary and genetics. Additionally, I incurred a meniscus injury from high school football and the entire interior cartilage of the right leg was removed in the about 1960. After playing highly competitive tournament tennis for sixty years as well as other sports, I developed a very serious displacement of the femur from the tibia.

In December 2013, Dr. O’Neill expertly and surgically replaced the damaged right knee with a lot of additional metal rods drilled into the femur and tibia during the total knee replacement. I am so thankful to Dr. O’Neill and TCO as I have had a perfectly functioning usable right leg for the past thirteen years.

Now my left knee had developed bone on bone along with arthritis and pain when walking, so of course I would choose no other surgeon than Dr. O’Neill. About two months ago Dr. O’Neill surgically repaired my painful left knee and with the help of the staff at TCO physical therapy I am recovering and pain free at this time. The follow up appointments with Dr. O’Neill and Isabelle have been very meaningful. As an engineer I was very inquisitive about the knee replacement procedure and they both took time to show me the procedure on plastic models. I have recommended Dr. O’Neill to many friends and relatives and every one of those friends have been very pleased with their results.

Three years ago, I rolled my pickup truck on black ice and nearly severed my left hand at the wrist. We are so grateful that Dr. Mark Fischer was the hand specialist who accepted my case. He performed several of the surgeries I’ve had over the last three years, consulted closely with the plastic surgeon, and followed my therapy progress the entire time. Dr. Fischer took extra time going over the follow-up x-rays, explaining and discussing at length the options at every visit and truly cared for me. He updated my wife after each surgery, explaining in detail the procedures and expectations. Because of Dr. Fischer’s expertise and knowledge of the latest technology and therapies available, I can now use my left hand and a couple fingers to hold utensils. I appreciate Dr. Fischer listening to me, and his persistence in helping me achieve use of my left wrist, hand, and fingers. We are forever grateful and highly recommend Dr. Mark Fischer.

Dr. Hartigan did an outstanding job on my rotator cuff repair. He has a great bedside manner and sense of humor.
