Dr. Bakker was fantastic. I had been in pain for more than 10 years. Dr. Bakker got me in for both carpal tunnel surgeries very quickly. HE (not his nurse) called the day after each surgery to see how I was doing. I recommended him to a friend, and he went right in and now is pain free just like me.  Dr. Bakker is a fabulous doctor and I appreciate how he cares for his patients.  I would highly recommend him to everyone having any hand/arm pain.

Dr. Bakker is an amazingly skilled surgeon. He restored function to my right thumb, after not having a functioning thumb for 42 years! He is also a very personable doctor, which is sometimes not so common among orthopedic surgeons. Dr. Bakker is the only doctor in the world that I would go to for any upper extremity procedure.

I’ve had three hand surgeries with Dr. Fischer. He is THE hand guy in MN. Transplants in both thumbs due to arthritis and trigger finger surgery in two fingers. This man is talented. The arthritis in my thumbs hurt so bad I couldn’t sleep. So, I decided to have the transplant surgery. Recovery took about a month. Eight years later, my thumbs are still perfect…no pain…I can do everything I want to do again. If you need this type of surgery, don’t be afraid. Recovery is quick and results are perfect. Dr. Fischer is the right guy to do this.

I am a prime example of Dr. Szalapski’s excellent surgical skills, treatment and how well he replaced my right hip. He has also successfully surgically repaired my trigger index finger on my right hand. In addition, he is keeping my knee out of trouble because of arthritis. I am very happy with Dr. Szalapski and I give him and his staff the highest rating one can receive in his field of medicine.

I brought my daughter in yesterday to the Edina walk-in clinic for an injured hand/wrist. It was such a great experience. I appreciate being able to take her there instead of a dirty, influenza infested urgent care. The clinic was clean and the staff was very kind. The x-ray techs were so great with my 4-year-old and got the x-ray done quickly.

For the first time in many, many years, I have no hand pain. Dr. Bakker has patiently done seven surgeries on me for trigger fingers, carpal tunnel, and cubital tunnel syndrome. Through it all, he has been concerned and willing to help me in any way he can. He is the best upper extremity surgeon I have ever been to. I can’t say enough good things about him.

I came in with a cut hand that needed surgery. I was rather scared. Your front end staff was excellent. They helped me with all my needs! Dr. Fischer was great, he explained the procedure to me, and was very kind. I also worked with Amy, and she was very helpful, and very friendly.

Dr. Meyer treated my daughter, Leah, for elbow pain related to her sports participation as well as performed her trigger finger surgery. He showed great compassion and understanding for the impact these issues had on her sports participation, which at her age is really important to her; as well as of course providing great medical care (which, as her parents, we were more focused on.)

Dr. Bakker helped my best friend; he was extraordinary beyond his profession. With compassion and concern, he saved her arm and fingers from amputation after she had already lost her legs from this tragedy. So, for the above and beyond care we received, thank you!
