Dr. Etasha Bhatt performed surgery on my right ring finger which was badly injured due to a sport-related injury. The surgery went well, and I was on the path to healing soon after. It did not take long to get home, everything was quick and smooth. I was able to get follow-up appointments soon enough. Three years ago, I rolled my pickup truck on black ice and nearly severed my left hand at the wrist. We are so grateful that Dr. Mark Fischer was the hand specialist who accepted my case. He performed several of the surgeries I’ve had over the last three years, consulted closely with the plastic surgeon, and followed my therapy progress the entire time. Dr. Fischer took extra time going over the follow-up x-rays, explaining and discussing at length the options at every visit and truly cared for me. He updated my wife after each surgery, explaining in detail the procedures and expectations. Because of Dr. Fischer’s expertise and knowledge of the latest technology and therapies available, I can now use my left hand and a couple fingers to hold utensils. I appreciate Dr. Fischer listening to me, and his persistence in helping me achieve use of my left wrist, hand, and fingers. We are forever grateful and highly recommend Dr. Mark Fischer.

Dr. Mark Fischer is an amazing physician and I’m eternally grateful for his care. My left wrist was injured several decades ago while training in Coronado, California to become a U.S. Navy SEAL. When I reached my early 50’s my injury had caught up with me. At age 63 and after excellent treatment and care over the last decade, I’ve been able to avoid surgery and can use my hand properly which allows me to fully engage in my career with minimal problems. Dr. Fischer is amazing and is always so generous with his time and expertise. I’m extremely thankful for the care and compassion he provides me every time I see him. Thank you, Dr. Fischer for being the great person you are and for the care you provide your patients.

Our family has seen Dr. Eggert for more than one broken bone as we have 4 very active children. Our daughter broke her leg skiing in 2022, and her wrist later that year, and our son recently broke his wrist skateboarding. The most recent injury led us to the new TCO Urgent Care in Excelsior. I cannot express my amazement on how quickly they were able to see my son, x-ray his wrist, and promptly get him in a splint. It was the most efficient urgent care experience of my life, in addition to being well cared for. We followed up with Dr. Eggert to get casted the following week and he was knowledgeable, patient, and pragmatic — everything you want in an orthopedic physician. We can’t recommend him enough along with all the TCO facilities.

I had a very large cyst in my wrist and into the palm of my hand. Dr. Meletiou removed the cyst and performed carpal tunnel surgery. The results were amazing, and the care was very good. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thanks for the great job.

Dr. Fischer and his team were great!  I was anxious going in, but they were so relaxed and put on country music for me to listen to so my anxiety quickly went down.  The way they talked with me throughout the whole procedure made me feel calm and in good hands.  I went grocery shopping with my husband after the procedure and slept so well that night.  The fact that I didn’t need strong pain medications, just a few Advil is amazing!  I just talked with another stylist here that has a claim with her shoulder and wrist and was diagnosed with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.  She told me her provider said she needs an EMG and would be off work for 1 month just after having her carpal tunnel surgery.  She couldn’t believe I didn’t have an EMG and that I was back to work in 4 days!  In our industry, taking 1 month off is scary as we can lose clients.  They will go somewhere else for a haircut or nail appointment.  But a week off – there is no risk of that.  I told her she needs to see Dr. Fischer.

Dr. Dwivedi is a remarkable person! Beginning with our first meeting for my carpal tunnel surgery, surgical procedure, and subsequent check-ups, Dr. Dwivedi was very personable and compassionate, and always had my well-being and recovery in mind. He clearly explained the surgery, and always asked if I had any questions or concerns. He is one of kind and without hesitation I would recommend Dr. Dwivedi for your hand surgery.

I had carpal tunnel surgery on February 20, 2024. From the very minute I arrived at the Blaine Orthopedic Surgery Center, the staff was so kind and respectful! Once I was admitted, the nurses were patient, funny, and so positive! Dr. Wetter treated me with great respect and answered all of my questions. The anesthesiologist was also very nice. The surgery went very smoothly and recovery was quick! I was given detailed instructions about what to do once I got home, and the nurse followed up with a phone call the next day answering my additional questions. The post-op appointment on March 11th went very well, too. Dr. Wetter took his time, telling me that the healing process was going very well. He’s very knowledgeable about this condition and the surgery required for it. Overall, I appreciated everything about the people involved throughout the surgical process. I would highly recommend Dr. Wetter to anyone going through carpal tunnel surgery!

Dr. Gerlach has been wonderful to me. I went to other surgeons, and they were going to put a plate on my wrist, which makes NO wrist. When I found Dr. Gerlach, he looked at my x-rays, said he could do surgery and that I would still have 70% of my wrist motion. In March 2023 I had my left wrist done. It was a major surgery so most healing to get back to normal was about 3 months. After recovering, I was able to hold my fishing pole and filet my fish, until the right wrist went bad. Now this February 2024, Dr. Gerlach did my right wrist. I’m still in recovery but I hope to be fishing in Devils Lake by end of June. Thank you again I highly recommend Dr. Gerlach for any hand or wrist surgery.
