I want to thank to Dr. Bakker and his team for making my surgery a success. I appreciate having a Twin Cities Orthopedics clinic close to home. A couple of years ago, I slipped on black ice walking my dog down the drive way and broke the radial bone in my arm. I was referred to Dr. Bakker when this happened. In physical therapy, I had been having pain in my left thumb as well so they suggested an X-ray. It showed I had injured my thumb over the years and didn’t even know it. I asked Dr. Bakker for wisdom and insight on what to do. We decided surgery was the best option. I had the surgery this month and I am grateful it has been a success. I’m still healing but my recovery is going very well. A big thank you to Dr. Bakker and his team at TCO!

I had a distal radius fracture that Dr. Dwivedi repaired and I am very happy with my results. My recovery is going well and overall, I am doing fine. Occupational therapy has been a great help. My scar is doing great and I have full flexibility in my hand and wrist. I continue to do my exercises to improve my strength which is getting better each day. Dr. Dwivedi was terrific to work with. I would certainly recommend him!

The hardest part of a prosthetic was never the fit. It was the idea. I never wanted or needed one, and I had built a world-record career without one. Drew Gienau understood that. He never pushed a premade solution. Instead, he asked me what I wanted this prosthetic to do for my throwing, and he got me excited about the answer.
