Dr. Sanders performed ACL and meniscus repair on my knee in October 2016. I am so impressed with not only how fabulous my knee works today, but how he and his team worked together from start to finish. TCO is a first class operation, from the minute you check in (whether at the clinic level or hospital) all the way through rehab. My knee works better than it has in years and long before surgery. Dr. Sanders made me feel as though I was the most important patient and allowed me the time I needed to ask questions for what I deemed a “very scary” surgery. He even drew me pictures, so I would be as informed as possible. No doubt about it, if I need any future orthopedic care, TCO is the answer for me.

When I sought out a 3rd opinion on my left knee, I was scheduled with Dr. Arntson. My first appointment was very cordial and I remember leaving the office that day feeling very optimistic about my potential treatment. He ordered several tests, which is the first time a doctor has listened to me and not looked at me like my pain is all in my head.  I’ve been in pain since 2012, had meniscus repaired, didn’t hold.  Had partial, didn’t work for me.

Fast forward to after all the testing was complete, Dr. Arntson took the time to fully answer any and all questions about a total knee replacement, which he recommended. I started to feel very much at ease with my new Doctor – who then ruled out everything from the testing. So after the Holidays in 2016, I knew I had to make the appointment to get my surgery done.

Long story short; I had my total knee replacement revision on January 31st 2017 at Mercy Hospital, done by the amazing Dr. Arntson. From the morning I got to the hospital, to recovery, to my hospital stay, to home, I was well taken care of.  And now 6 weeks out I am walking without pain!

Having my total knee replacement was the best thing I could have ever done for myself to get rid of the constant pain I was in. Dr. Arntson is literally an Angel. He has made my life better and I can now look forward to the rest of my life pain free!!  I highly recommend Dr. Arntson and his staff.

A split second slip and fall resulted in a shoulder injury. Gods grace led me to Dr. Hess. Dr. Hess took the time to lay out my options. The injury required surgery but he offered other options. Dr. Hess answered all my questions, listened to my concerns (fears) and walked me through the repair and rehab. I expected a qualified doctor. Dr. Hess proved to be more than a qualified surgeon; a good man. Qualified, capable, confident, kind, compassionate, caring and humble. He hasn’t forgotten his patients are people.

I had a surgery with Dr. Arntson to repair a torn meniscus. Dr. Arntson was very informative with options, thorough with imaging and always took the time to listen and answer questions. Due to other medical reasons, I’ve had 12 surgeries over the past 8 years. This was my first surgery with Dr. Arntson. He was on time for the surgery, explained the procedure to myself and my husband and answered all our questions.  He met with my husband after surgery, showed pictures of the procedure, explaining each one.  I was extremely impressed when the bandages came off to barely see a trace of where the procedure took place.  Recovery time was minimal.  It was so refreshing to meet a doctor who truly put the patient first!

I met Dr. Thomas Comfort March of 2016. He decided I needed to have a new left knee so I proeceded to do what I was told by his staff. I started exercises before so it would easier after for me to recover post surgery. It worked very well.  I had very good recovery and I am able to get around.

As of late 2016 my left started to act up, so again I went to Dr. Comfort and found out I needed a left hip replaced. He did a total hip replacement and things went great. Within days after the surgery I was getting around with no pain or discomfort.

Now 1 year after my knee surgery and 3 months after my hip surgery I am able to get around like I did some years back. Thank you to Dr. Comfort and his team for all they have done.

After experiencing severe pain in my right hip, I met with Dr. O’Keefe and he advised cortisone shots which got me through the golf season. He then suggested a total hip replacement and after surgery I was up and walking the next day with little discomfort. I was able to go home in less than 2 days. I am now looking forward to getting my left hip replaced. Thanks to Dr. O’Keefe for everything.

I can’t say enough good things about the care that I received from Dr. Chris Larson, his physician assistant Kevin R. and support staff. Dr. Larson has operated on both of my hips for femoral acetabular impingement. The condition of both of my hips was debilitating. I no longer live in constant pain and I am able to do all athletic and recreational activities that I love. Thank you Dr. Larson for your clinical and research commitment to FAI!

When even lifting a mug of coffee caused pain, I knew I needed to address my worsening shoulder issues. I’d had other replacements but surgery on my right arm concerned me. Dr. Peter Sanders, who sees patients at RC Hospital in Olivia, listened carefully and answered all my questions, putting me at ease. His professionalism and skill were evident, but he also showed a passion for what he does and a desire to use his skills to help his patients. The results from my shoulder joint replacement are remarkable. It took some time but thanks to Dr. Sanders and our Big Stone Therapy group in Olivia, I am completely pain-free and back into life!

I want to personally thank Dr. Holthusen for his excellent care and expertise with my 16 year old daughter. My daughter had her foot repaired and a bunion removed via surgery with Dr. Holthusen last October. Dr. Holthusen’s expertise made both my daughter and I feel confident right at the beginning of planning her surgery. He took wonderful care of my daughter during surgery and in the months that followed during her recovery. My daughter experienced very little pain post surgery and never suffered during the healing process. Dr. Holthusen’s thorough follow up for four months post surgery gave my daughter the reassurance of her progress. She is now fully healed, walking running and active with no pain. And she can now wear fancy shoes all thanks to Dr. Holthusen.
