I want to thank Dr. Scott McGarvey for the difference he made in my life’s activities since my surgery in September 2022. It is so nice to be able to lie on my back with a sheet and blanket, go hiking through the woods for two hours, and walk up and down the stairs facing forward (not sideways) without pain. I can look ahead when I walk instead of looking down to avoid stepping on a pebble. And no more limping! I just wish I had the surgery years ago. Dr. McGarvey is the BEST.

When I first met with Dr. Ridley, I had been having hip pain for at least 6 years. I tried hip injections, physical therapy, BioFreeze, etc., but nothing really helped that much. When Dr. Ridley offered me hip replacement surgery, I jumped at the change. I like to be active with my family and I was no longer able to physically do the things we wanted to do as a family without extreme pain. I was nervous before surgery, but everything went well, and I am so glad I got the surgery. I walked over 9 miles the other day (about 5 months post-surgery), and still no pain. I am so grateful for Dr. Ridley helping me get my life back. I now go for hikes, play outside sports with my kids and live life fully again.
