My spinal surgery with Dr. Omar has been a very positive experience. He explains the process well, is conscientious and caring. I am glad he was referred to me.

From day one, Dr. Lewis and his team of assistants and physical therapists have been “spot on” and I thank them all. You must not forget your responsibility as a patient, to take guidance from the team and exercise. I was walking with assistance early on. At day 40 I was walking without assistance. It’s truly a miracle. I have a little more work to do on my part, like exercising, but I expect that I will continue my travels as planned. Thanks to all at TCO.

I’m 48 years and had hip replacement surgery. I choose Dr. O’Neill since he does the anterior approach. It’s been 10 weeks since my surgery and I am pain free. I actually played basketball 10 weeks after surgery. I can’t believe how much better I feel and I wish I would have done it sooner. Dr. O’Neill was great and I would highly recommend him.

I was referred to TCO by my primary care doctor and chiropractor. My leg and knee hurt so much, I could hardly walk. I saw Dr. Bircher at TCO and what a great surgeon he is. From my first visit to after surgery, he always explained what to expect with my total knee replacement. I am now three months after surgery and my knee is doing great. I had my surgery with Dr. O’Neill and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I was somewhat apprehensive because the replacement of my right knee with another surgeon did not go well. Knowing this, he answered all of my questions and calmed my fears. He was 100% right with everything he told me. Surgery went great and he came up to my room that evening to check on me, even though he was unsure if he would have time to stop by. His whole team was great. They were very thorough and caring. It’s been years since running without pain. This golf season I plan on walking the courses again! Thank you so much.

My husband Richard is 69 years old and had a hip replacement recently. At 7 weeks post-op he is doing fantastic! At first he contemplated seeing another doctor who performed this surgery using the anterior approach, which is advertised to have a shorter and easier recovery. After talking to Dr. Ridley, he explained to us that research shows that the posterior approach’s healing and recovery time was just the same. We are so happy we chose Dr. Ridley to perform his surgery!

Not only is he a great surgeon, he is personable, friendly, happy, and takes as much time as you need to answer all of your questions. His entire team is awesome too. His care coordinator, his PA, and nurse are so helpful and knowledgeable. Whoever said that the anterior approach was the best way to go was wrong. Dr. Ridley performs the posterior approach and people can’t believe how great Richard’s recovery is going.

If you are considering having a hip replacement, please consider Dr. Ridley as your orthopedic surgeon. You’ll never regret it. We also highly recommend doing your exercises religiously and consider going to physical therapy. You’ll never regret either of these decisions. Thank you, Dr. Ridley! I can hardly believe that it’s now been over 3 years since Dr. Mark Fischer did my successful Carpal Tunnel Surgery. EMG results and clinical tests had confirmed my bilateral struggle was worthy of getting them both fixed, so I did both hands one month apart (but with 2 different surgeons). After knowing my 1st surgery’s struggle, I was so grateful that he didn’t put me under anesthesia for the surgery. I enjoyed being awake during the surgery with just the operable area isolated for surgery. I got to ask questions of him and the team and watch the screen during the surgery. Yes, some of us geeks love that stuff. I only regret that I hadn’t first met Dr. Fischer so both hands could have been successes.

I had severe pain in my back. I visited Twin Cities Orthopedics and was lucky to get a timely appointment with Dr. Omar. He was attentive, kind and caring. His diagnosis was to the point. Not too long after our meeting, he performed surgery on my back and I could not be happier. I am thankful to Dr. Omar and TCO for my health the wonderful surgery.

Surgery with Dr. Ridley was by far the best surgery experience I’ve had to date, including myself and my children! From the cleanliness, the staff’s friendliness, the quickness of getting us in and out, the knowledge of everyone including the front desk staff/doctors/nurses, and the efficiency of Dr. Ridley and the nurses after surgery was incredible. Seriously 5 stars! Way to go TCO!
